We offer guided duck hunts, fishing charters, and full Cast N Blast trips on the Texas coast. Trips are built for small private groups looking for a well-run experience, whether that’s a single day on the water or a full multi-day trip.

These trips are built around private groups. When you book, the goal is to give your group a more personal and customized experience, not pack you in with a bunch of strangers.

Weather reschedules are handled when needed. If weather causes an issue on a multi-day trip, those affected day(s) are credited toward a future trip.

No refunds. If weather or conditions cause a truly rough day of shooting or catching, we offer a 20% discount on a future trip.

As early as possible. Prime dates can fill up fast, especially for the 3 day all-inclusive packages, so it’s smart to reach out once your group has a rough plan in mind.

Most trips are set up for private groups of up to 4 people. Keeping groups small helps keep the trip more personal, more flexible, and easier to run right.

The Cast N Blast package is for groups who want both hunting and fishing during the trip. Most groups hunt ducks in the mornings and spend afternoons fishing, with options that can be adjusted around what your group wants most.

Yes. Cast N Blast trips are especially flexible and can be tailored around what your group wants to do most, whether that’s more hunting, more fishing, or a mix of both.

The standard duck hunting package is a 3 day / 3 night all-inclusive trip that includes 3 morning duck hunts and 2 afternoon duck hunts or fishing trips. It’s built for private groups of up to 4 hunters.

The back bay airboat red fishing trip is $900 for up to 4 anglers and lasts about 4 to 7 hours. It includes all equipment, bait, fish cleaning, packaging for the ride home, ice for your catch, and water on board.

Jetty fishing is done from a 25 foot Mowdy boat and includes all equipment, plus fish cleaning and packaging. It’s a great option for guests wanting a different kind of day on the water and a shot at bigger fish.

Hunters may have the opportunity to take pintails, redheads, wigeon, gadwall, teal, and more. There are a lot of different birds in the area, so no two days ever really look the same.

Depending on the trip, guests may target redfish, black drum, flounder, speckled trout, bull reds, sheepshead, trout, and slot redfish. On some trips, sharks and tarpon are also possible.

Guests stay at The Bay Lodge, right on the water. It offers clean, comfortable private rooms and keeps you close to where the day starts.

Yes. The all-inclusive hunting packages include catered meals so your group is taken care of throughout the trip.

Fishing gear is provided. For hunt-specific gear, clothing, licenses, and anything else your group may need, it’s best to confirm those details when booking.

They do their best to accommodate dietary needs when requested ahead of time. It’s best to mention anything important when booking so nobody gets surprised later.

Water is provided on board for guests. You’re also welcome to bring your own snacks, soft drinks, beer, wine, or whatever else you’d like while out on the water.

For fishing, the big thing is bringing a cooler for your catch. Gear, bait, fish cleaning, and packaging are already handled.

The day usually starts with coffee and a Texas-style breakfast burrito before heading out for the morning hunt. After the hunt, guests come back for lunch, then choose whether to head back out, fish, or keep the trip moving however they want.
